On behalf of the people of staffordshire and the members of the staffordshire search and rescue team (SSART), may I extend my heartfelt thanks for your support and kind donation of the cardiac science powerheart G3 AED Defibrilator.
You donation has enabled the team, who are a registered charity reliant on public donations, to move its immediate and emergency care forward to the highest level. With your donation our team members will now be able to respond and treat casualties with the minimum of time delay, and as you will no doubt be aware time is a critical factor in the treatment of cardiac conditions.
We would have had to stand outside many supermarkets and other venues for years to come to raise sufficient funds to enable us to purchase this vital piece of life saving equipment. Your generosity has moved this aspiration forward by at least 2 years.
I will make sure that you are kept aware of the AED use and any successful applications. We have some photographs of the team training with the AED and I will send them to you once we have had them Professionally reproduced. Once again many thanks on behalf of the people of Staffordshire and the Staffordshire Search and Rescue Team.

I can confirm we have purchased nine AEd?s with your donation and they have been distributed to the following areas:

Coventry Eastern Green
Clifton upon Dunsmore
Southam
ColeshillEasenhall
Ettington
Studley
Long Compton
I have attempted to distribute the AED?s across a wide area utilising a variety of persons who are trained in their use. I am hopeful in doing so it will motivate others in applying to have AED?s especially the fire service. In addition it places the AED?s in areas that have as high risk of cardiac events.
